This is a thermographic print of the first in a series of paintings by interdisciplinary artist Gaz Lawrence, designed to be viewed exclusively through thermal imaging (far infrared). The original painting depicted in this print was unveiled at the Royal Institution, London, in July 2025 and later exhibited at the National Space Centre in Leicester. It portrays an imagined exoplanet landscape inspired by the binary star system Kepler-16 A/B. Just as infrared astronomy reveals new worlds, these artworks remind us that there is always more to see beyond the limits of human vision.
Made from 8 images from 2 different infrared cameras including the Thermal Master Thor 002 stitched together to create final false colour print of an artwork unfit for human vision.
