Veblen Experiment

Singapore

Acrylic on Canvas

2021

50cm x 40 cm

Current price: £2350

(Until October 31st 2026)

This is the least expensive this painting will ever be!

The price of most products obeys the law of supply and demand. But not Veblen goods like luxury watches or Champagne. This is a pricing experiment to see if this artwork is a Veblen product or just inherently undesirable.

The price of this painting will increase by £50 on the 1st of every month until it sells.
